I live in Europe, and I have never heard of a thing called "facebook". No one from my friends uses such thing either. Human relationships, the need to meet in person are still quite alive and well in here. Must be something native to Amerikka.

While you get the perk of having your own "page" on Myspace/etc I don't see how it is "addicting". It's not like tobacco or alcohol which causes you to form a chemical dependancy. Maybe you suggest the sites form a psychological dependancy? That's a bit disturbing >.>

Seems logical to me, everyone I know with a page about them selves can't seem to shut up about it. " Oh my god, did you read my newest blog!" " No, but if you keep talking you can write one about how I punched you in the face"

And this only serves to illustrate that ppl need to get away from their computers, get out of their houses, and try living a real life a little. Nothing wrong with killing a little time online here and there, but being obsessed with it is ridiculous. I've never even heard of this 'facebook' stuff till I read this thread...

Well I guess it is just the current craze in some places, I mean it just poped out of a hole a few months ago here, next thing I know, everyone has it.
